Each year, a new challenge spreads like a storm through the Internet. Some of them, such as Ice Bucket Challenge, are introduced with the intention of raising awareness about the disease of Lou Gehrig, some others such as the Blue Whale Challenge have been found to be harmful. The challenge that has become viral this year is #BottlecapChallenge which requires great care and skill. However, Social Media #BottlecapChallenge is full of people who give it.
#BottlecapChallenge drew the attention of the likes of people, when last week Max Holloway put a video, where he could be seen removing a bottle from a spinning back kick. I first heard of the Bottle Cap Challenge for myself when Jason Statham did this and everyone was mad at this, soon after, Donnie Yen tied it blindfolded and then Ryan Reynolds also ran into the challenge. Of course, Reynolds had made fun of this, but Statham's video was superb, which was seen more than 16 million on the Instagram.
WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?
According to the new viral challenge, a bottle cap has to be removed with a sharp kick, without bowing down the bottle. The cap is kept slightly loose on top of the bottle and the lid is opened with the contact of a swing kick or roundhouse kick.
HOW DID IT START?
The challenge was introduced by mix members of martial arts, but it was popularized by UFC champion Max Holloway and designer Erolson Hugh. It has tried the MMA Star Max Holloway on social media. Holloway challenged the Hollywood star John Mayer, the Mayor challenged and shared his own video and in turn challenged actor Jason Statham, who posted a slow video of the stunt. It has more than 15 million views. After this, Guy Ritchie, Ryan Reynolds and Ellie Golding also took part.
Slowly more people took it, which made it quite viral. So far many Instagram posts have been shared using the #Bottlecapchallenge.
BOLLYWOOD
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar shared this challenge in Bollywood Celebes with Akshay Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff also completed the Challenge. He also put a blindfold on his eyes. Tiger Shroff told in his caption that he was inspired by Doni Yen to create the video while Akshay Kumar told that he was inspired by Jason Statham. The same Vidyut Jamwal shared the video by opening three bottles of cap together.
HOW TO PERFORM CHALLENGE?
If you want to do it yourself, then loosen the cap beforehand, and someone has kept the bottle for you, try that it is the same person who is recording the whole. Any bottle works but definitely goes for a plastic - if you fail then it is more secure.
